Hello Hans,

The first time I met you was during the new employee training 5 years ago. As a lecturer, your professional and rich experience impressed me, and I firmly believe that due to your presence, HERE will get better and better.
The first time I saw your mail about “colleagues Work Anniversary” post, I was amazed by your unique perspective; Having extensive knowledge.
The first close encounter was as an APAC TS online meeting, where your kindness and wit made the virtual meeting not cold.
Hans, Heaven has no pain, walk well with our blessings all the way !

Wat hebben we allemaal mooie herinneringen aan je overgehouden, Hans!
Vanaf de eerste dagen bij EGT aan de lichttafel plots aan het bekijken tot aan ons avontuur in Sunnyvale. En nog vele leuke jaren volgden.

Geweldige kerel ben je Hans! En ik ben trots dat ik jou als collega heb gehad.

Marja, kinderen en familie, gecondoleerd en heel veel sterkte en kracht toegewenst met dit ongelooflijke verlies.
Ik hoop dat deze vele steunbetuigingen jullie enigszins troost geeft.

All the people who have been working at HERE for many years (which is my case ) know Hans. As he has been based in Europe and also in the US , and as he was in contact with multiple people , Hans became one of the pillars of our company. Hans gathered multiple qualities into one person (customer centricity, technical skills, product knowledge, communication skills, inspiring leader, trusted advisor...) which made him a very precious colleague. I am working in Sales, based in Paris office and I remember that Hans travelled to Paris to meet one of my prospects. Hans brought a lot of creative ideas into the meeting, he was lively, passionate and trustful.
Hans was always there when you needed him. He will be very missed at HERE, we will not forget him .

While we have never met, I have worked with Hans for many years at NAVTEQ and HERE. He was a thoughtful colleague who always had time to talk. His contributions to HERE were significant and we will all miss his great attitude and his quick wit.

I can still remember the time as I was not part of Navteq and visited you and the team in Veldhoven, must be something around 2008, you mentioned to me "we are fitting together", we worked together for so many years and you behave like a good friend, not as a colleague or boss.
Let me thank you for the mentoring and all the good and bad times we hat together, you rocked this company from the beginning.
We will miss you, good bless you and all the best to Marja and the family.

Very sorry to hear about Hans. Best wishes and condolences to his family. I have very fond memories of working and hanging out with Hans over my years at NAVTEQ. Great to work with: knowledgeable, understanding and funny.

you were truly one of those persons who leave a whole in every aspect of your personality: as a colleague, fiend, leader, location expert and promotor of the company. You will be missed by so many people around the world many of which have become part of your work family. A world that needs people like you with your dedication, enthusiasm, friendliness, knowledge and calm.

I got to know Hans during a project called Motegi in 2016. I was impressed by his vast knowledge about HERE products and many topics in general. But above all, he was supportive, enthusiastic and charming! I am glad that we stayed in touch after the project as well.

Losing someone as positive and enthusiastic about life as Hans saddens me and is hard to absorb. I can only imagine how hard it is to the family and people close to him.

My condolences to the family, but please know that Hans will be missed by many.
